CORONA VIRUS UPDATE Headway Northampton will be closing to service users on Tuesday 23rd March 2020. Headway Northampton has been working to reduce the risks associated with COVID-19 to its staff and services in line with Government guidance. If you care for, or support, one of our service users we ask you to remind them of this closure and please do not facilitate them attending. Unfortunately, if they do arrive at the unit after the 23rd March, we cannot guarantee there will be anyone there to meet them. If we are there, we will be sending them home. We will continue to offer support to our service users and their families over the telephone during this difficult time. We will be operating a telephone support line between the hours of 10am-12pm and 2-4pm on Tuesday and Thursdays. We are working hard to identify additional ways of supporting our service users using remote technology and will keep you updated about this. Please be aware, we cannot guarantee the opening of the unit or staffing of the landline during our normal working hours. If you do contact us on that number, there is a facility to leave a message and we will call you back as soon as possible. Thank you to everyone who has offered support to us – our priority is ensuring we are here when normality resumes. We will keep you updated via our website www.headwaynorthampton.org.uk and Facebook page over the next few weeks. We look forward to welcoming you back as soon as we can. Keep safe everyone. Dear Debbie and the team. Is it possible to have a Zoom meeting for the clients. I think this can work on most media. Jackie Nicholls has seen her family on zoom perhaps headway could organise a link for the clients to see each other. Reply
